Method 4: Perspectives (creating common understanding, not necessarily consensus)
The goal of the task is that the group creates common understanding. Everyone expresses their opinions and beliefs. In addition, every participant pays careful attention to listening to the others' perspectives.
Instructions
- form small groups (the groups ought to be different from the ones in which you worked during the previous tasks)
- together with the other members of your group, create a “portrait” of your group
- use the portrait to describe those properties that make your group creative and help you enter the flow state
- create this portrait on the basis of what you have heard during this dialogue
- make sure that every opinion or belief is included in the portrait
- explain your portrait to the other participants together with the members of your group.
